What God Can’t Do

Trees grow at His command and angels bow before Him. God is great, and as great as He is, there are some things He still cannot do, things that are impossible for Him to do. You might be wondering what a contradicting statement this is, but the truth is that; God can do all things and yet He cannot and will never do some things no matter how hard He tries.

God can do so many things, the scripture even confirms it, that with God all things are possible and nothing shall be impossible.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Mathew 19:26).

God can do all things, He can heal the sick, raise the dead, set the captives free. He can save, He is the creator of heaven and earth and everything that is in it. He makes the sun to shine. He makes the rain to fall.

God Cannot Lie

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfil it?” (Numbers 23:19).

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we, who have fled for refuge, might have strong consolation to lay hold upon the hope set before us.” (Hebrews 6:18).

God Cannot Change

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8).

“For I am the Lord, I change not. Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” (Malachi 3:6).

“Of old hast Thou laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Thy hands. They shall perish, but Thou shalt endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; and as a vesture shalt Thou change them, and they shall be changed. But Thou art the same, and Thy years shall have no end.” (Psalms 102: 25-27).

“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.” (Psalms 90:2).

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy1:17).

God Cannot Deny Himself

“If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy2:13).

God Cannot Make Mistakes

“I will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Thy works, and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalms 139:13-14).

So whenever life goals seems impossible for you, know that God’s impossibilities is for our possibilities, if He cannot lie then whatever He has promised He will surely accomplish.
