PLEASE WRITE A REVIEW ON THEME OF FELLOWSHIP: THE EPISTLES OF JOHN
About The Book
An apt exposition into the overriding theme of fellowship in John’s epistles, with an ultimate aim of introducing the reader to the rationale and clues about getting into fellowship with God and other Christians. Every Christian deserves to have vivid revelation and clear understanding of the principles guiding being in fellowship with God the Father. Being in unhindered relations with Father and fellow believers go hand-in-hand. No one has true fellowship with his brother and sister without having fellowship with God, and vice versa.

“This book is a helpful introduction to John’s letters. It is designed to encourage those who want to go more deeply into the Scriptures, and Ayodele takes us through the important themes and teachings as we see how the wise Apostle renowned for his emphasis on love, seeks to guide and shepherd his flock through the challenges and dangers of the spiritual life”.

“Theme of fellowship” is not light reading or just another Christian book to tick off your list. Scripture encourages us to mine into the depths of God’s word, to search hard for precious truths. Ayodele has taken up the challenge and produced a thorough but accessible study of John’s epistles. There’s a good mix of theology, doctrine, practical application and devotion. The book bears reading several times. I believe this is an important book for today’s church as deception and opposition to God’s will increase. Thank you for reminding us that keeping in step with the Holy Spirit means a deepening relationship with the Lord and His family.
Dear Paul Brittain,
Many thanks for your deep review of the “Theme of Fellowship” by Ayodele Afuye. Your thorough and encouraging feedback would really be a source of inspiration for those who have not read the book to really consider going for it!
Thank you and God bless.
“The theme of fellowship in the epistles of John is a great commentary that provides the reader with timeless pearls of understanding of biblical concepts from the epistles of John. In this book, Ayodele brings the reader back to simple biblical truths, with regular verses and citations that show the reader that the concepts are not simply a biased opinion, but are well attested to biblically. For individuals who are looking to have a fresh look at the epistles of John, this book is a treasure”.

“Ayodele is not just a great writer, he is also a great teacher. Every time I read one of his books, I come away feeling educated and greatly encouraged. Like all of Ayodele’s books, the “Theme of Fellowship” highlights a new way of thinking and perspective on the intimacy and fellowship based upon the epistles of John. If you are looking for a great Christian read, I would highly recommend this book”.

“John’s writings are encapsulated in intimacy and fellowship, yet with apostolic authority that it deserves. Rev. Afuye highlights this very important aspect. That is the rudimentary doctrine of light and love which the apostle John reveals to his audience as a means of shepherding the church. Rev. Afuye depicts with precision the doctrinal as well as the theological perspectives that the Apostle brings to the table to help the individual believer as well as the collective to the truths of these writings. So blessed by reading this”.

The eight chapters of ‘Theme of Fellowship’ are remarkable in that they highlight God’s pattern for the church today, as revealed through the writings of Apostle John, in his epistles.
Fellowship is an essential need and not a luxury. The Christian journey begins with the salvation experience and a key component of growth is fellowship. The emotions that we share with other Christians, and the joy, the pain that we experience together, these are all contributory elements in our strides unto spiritual maturity.
I will certainly recommend this book for everyone seeking to take that ‘next step’ in their walk with the Lord and with other members of the body of Christ.

What an excellent book for any serious minded bible student wanting to get deepeeper into the Epistles of John. Ayodele has a knack of making ‘wheighty’ scripture verses acessible to all.
Dear Nigel,
Really appreciate your views of the scriptural contents in the Theme of Fellowship by Ayodele Afuye. Thank you for your kind review. Blessings to you!
This book is beneficial to a new christian who wants to grow and develop in God. I can sense Rev Ayo’s heart and passion to equip believers and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. Also helpful for anyone seeking their purpose in life. A great follow up to his other book Walking with God. This takes it to another level as it discusses walking alongside others whilst we walk with God. How it is interconnected. Thank you for this great book.
Dear Jane,
Thank you very much for your comment. Really deep and encouraging, especially your observation on the interconnectivity of the book with the previous book written by the same author, Ayodele Afuye, Walking With God. Once again, thank you for your feedback. God bless!
I believe that this book is very timely for the days that we are living in. Ayo gives a balanced and biblical view of the importance of true fellowship. Following the impact of the pandemic, many are choosing not to return to church and sadly some have fallen away. Our relationship with the Lord Jesus is vital, followed by our relationship with one another, this is made so very clear in the Theme of Fellowship.
Dear Peter,
Thank you for an insightful review of the Theme of Fellowship by Ayodele. More grace and blessings!
Using the epistles of John as a base, Ayo takes the reader on a journey exploring and examining the theme of fellowship and how we should relate to it as Christians. In so doing, what shines out brightly from each page is his own deep love and passion for Jesus. Ayo’s teaching will both inform and instruct; his passion will inspire.
Dear Liz,
