Stop Complaining!

I have been in a state of confusion and cross-road where I thought that was a dead end for me. It was a season of absolute darkness and helplessness. It took the loving hand of God to deliver…

There are so many philosophical questions everywhere about the existence of God and these questions are just a way of avoiding to accept the truth of the gospel, that Christ is the source of every good thing you and I desire. John Hick edited a popular book published in 1977, titled The Myth of God Incarnate. (The word “incarnate” means; God coming in the human form). Hick expressly discovered that if Jesus was uniquely God incarnate, then it remains uncontroversial that He is the only the way to God. That’s one of the immediate reasons for the questions being asked today. A lot of people complain and argue the authenticity of the deity of Jesus, being our true advocate before God and also the truth that Jesus has all the answers our questions.

Many have concluded that the above truth is an attack on their beliefs and personal opinions. The question here is; does what any man think have any effect on the sovereignty and the pre-eminence of the Almighty God? Can any philosophy of man change the position of Jesus being the divine legitimate advocate for you and me before the Father of heaven? The answer is NO! Thomas had a similar mind-set of not accepting the sovereignty of the deity of Jesus but Jesus addressed this matter straight. “Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:27-28).

He wants you and I to make our robes clean and by grace make an effort to dwell in His presence. Christ deserves our glory and praises, and then we can have an unhindered access to the eternal life…

Repent and Glorify Him

Rather than dwell on what we think and what our minds tell us regarding the present situations of this end time, all the answers are found in Christ who is worthy of all praise and glory in heaven and on the earth. John’s revelation spelt this out in Revelations 16:9; “And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory”. The acceptance of the truth and our repentance create a spiritual platform for revelation into the secret of peace, joy, fulfilment and assured eternity in Christ Jesus.

I have been in a state of confusion and cross-road where I thought that was a dead end for me. It was a season of absolute darkness and helplessness. It took the loving hand of God to deliver me from the paw of the unending and mind bugging questions popping up in my mind. I was almost losing my mind but respite came immediately I turned to Jesus. The answers can all be found in Christ Jesus. Complaints and questions about the demise of a loved one, cancer, addiction etc, can only be attended to by God through His son, Jesus Christ.

In these last days, Jesus is calling us to respond to His unfailing love and for us to repent of all sins. He wants you and I to make our robes clean and by grace make an effort to dwell in His presence. Christ deserves our glory and praises, and then we can have an unhindered access to the eternal life, which is in knowing Him, the only true God. “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent”. (John 17:3).
