“God designed sex for a reason and when we align our view of sex with God’s view, only then can we truly experience the freedom and pleasures that sex produces”.
These days it’s almost impossible to read an article, turn on the TV, or get on the internet without being blindfolded by sex or pornographic scenery. Sex is everywhere and the world says, “Do it”. The church is too silent on the issue. Sex has transferred into a self-gratifying, pleasure-seeking physical action.
It’s so easy to fall into the trap of masturbation, lust, and sexual impurity because sex no longer represents the coming together of two into one flesh. Most times, there is not even an emotional connection, because that’s how the world tries to frame it, not knowing that there is life and death power in sex and romance.
God designed sex, so it will make sense to go back to the designer and ask how we should handle it.
God designed sex for a reason and when we align our view of sex with God’s view, only then can we truly experience the freedom and pleasures that sex produces. When the world say’s that sex exists for one’s personal sexual desire,God’s view of sex is a selfless act that seeks to acquire mutual pleasure in marriage. God specifically designed sex as a way for married couples to experience a bond unlike any other, two people becoming one in the most intimate way possible.
When two people have sex outside of marriage, they enter into bond without the covenant of marriage before God, and they are exposed to all kind of problems. God expects us to remain pure and rely on His spirit to develop self-control. You are destined to impact your world and you have the ability to protect your future by living a careful life.
